🎯 Who We’re Looking For

We work with cleaners who are:

  • Experienced in domestic cleaning

  • Reliable, professional and trustworthy

  • Able to work independently

  • Comfortable communicating with clients

  • Able to provide ID, right-to-work documents and references

  • Insured (or willing to obtain insurance)

Transport is desirable but not essential — depending on your area.

Cleaners must provide basic cleaning supplies such as cloths, sprays and small tools.
Clients supply vacuum cleaners, mops and buckets.

We match you with local clients based on your availability and preferred areas.

5. Weekly pay

You clean — we handle the admin and pay you weekly.

Prime Cleaning retains ownership of all clients introduced through the agency.

Do I need to be employed by Prime Cleaning Group?

No. All cleaners work with Prime Cleaning Group on a self-employed basis. You choose the work you accept and manage your own tax and insurance.

How much will I be paid?

Cleaners are paid £13 per hour, with payments made weekly by bank transfer.

Who invoices the client?

Prime Cleaning Group invoices the client directly. Cleaners should never take payment from clients.

Do I need my own cleaning equipment?

You’ll need your own basic cleaning supplies (cloths, sprays, gloves, etc.).
Clients provide large equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and buckets.

Do I need my own transport?

Transport is desirable but not essential. This depends on your location and how easily you can travel between clients.

What areas do you cover?

We currently have strong demand in Harrogate, York and Newcastle, and are expanding across the UK. If we don’t yet have clients in your area, you can still apply and we’ll contact you when work becomes available.

How often will I work?

Work depends on your availability, location, and client demand. Many cleaners build regular weekly or fortnightly schedules.

Can I decline work if it doesn’t suit me?

Yes. You can accept or decline any work offered. We aim to match you with clients that fit your preferences.

What checks are required to start work?

Once you pass the initial application stage, you’ll be asked to provide:

  • ID

  • Right to work in the UK

  • References

  • Proof of insurance

Additional checks (such as DBS) may be required for certain clients.

When will I start receiving work?

Once onboarding is complete and suitable clients are available in your area, we’ll begin offering work immediately.
